The absolute best Shrimp fried rice in town!!! The employees are very polite. I will drive from across town to eat here!

There's not many options for Chinese/Japanese near Barksdale. After reading a few positive reviews I decided to try this restaurant. It's only 7 minutes from the front gate which is nice. They have a drive thru which is very convenient. The inside is quite small but the bar was decent size. I ordered the Orange Chicken, Beef with mixed vegetables, rainbow rolls, and spicy yellow tail. The price was reasonable, about 8 dollars a dish. The portions size was good. The Orange Chicken was quite spicy which I liked. The fried rice was small and not very flavorful. The Sushi was a huge disappointment. The two rolls were almost $20 and they were tiny. I would go back for Chinese but never for Japanese. The wait staff was very nice and helpful.

This is one of my favorite places in town to get Asian food. The service is excellent and the staff is super friendly and responsive. They have a wide variety of dishes and sushi on their menu. I was skeptical at first, but both are fantastic. We usually get a dish and a sushi roll on the side. The dining room is very pretty and modern, but if you're in a hurry, they have a drive-thru and call-ahead ordering. They have their liquor license now, and the dining room features a bar.

I went here a month ago when I was sick because they had soup and a drive thru. I also ordered lo mein. The soup hit the spot. The lo mein was tasty ... maybe slightly on the oily side. Yesterday I was craving soup and ordered the black pepper chicken lunch special. I was disappointed that ordering the special to-go would exclude the soup. But it's only $1.75 so I just ordered it separately. I loved the black pepper chicken! The lunch special came with fried rice (no substituting white), a crab puff, an eggroll, and fried wontons. If you dined in, you also received your choice of soup or salad. All for $6.49. Tonight, the husband wanted the chicken I spoke so highly of and we stopped to pick it up. We went inside to order so we could check out the interior. The place appeared clean and pleasant. The guy that took our order was funny and pretty awesome. I asked whether they took orders through the drive thru and he spoke honestly and said it really messes everyone up because people wait for their food at the window holding up the line or drive continuously around the building. His explanation and expression was comical. Anyway, we went out to the car to wait and intended on picking up through the drive-thru. But ten minutes later, as hubby was putting the car in gear to grab our food, the guy came walking out to our car with our order! I was totally impressed! I love how they fill the bag with all the sauces you could want, cookies, napkins and utensils. The only reason I didn't give a five-star review was because they wouldn't give white rice in place of fried (though the fried rice was wonderful!) and because the soup doesn't come with lunch specials to-go.

Pros: Pretty good food for an excellent price. Cons: The service was nothing special. Not really talkative or social. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick lunch special.

My kids beg to come here!! Their snow crab salad is so good, and the sushi is always a hit! I love the hot and sour soup. Every meal I have had here is good and the staff are always friendly. They also have a drive up window, and often I will call in our dinner and pick it up on the way home from work.

My favorite Asian cuisine in Shreveport/Bossier area. Best fried rice I've had anywhere and I love the rocky II roll. I will definitely miss this place when I leave.

I had to down grade my original rating a bit...because we got a hair in our food. YUCK! But I have been here a few times...and no issues before that. The place is beautifully designed. The food isn't too bad (although, I am spoiled being from So Cal and used to things a little tastier). I like the drive through. And service has always been good.

Without a doubt the best Asian restaurant in the area! The only one that comes close is, Hana in Shreveport. We have been here several times and have had a lot of their meals, all we're superb!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
